Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo 東京都現代美術館

Located in Kiba Park, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo has five floors and its collection includes a vast range of mainly post-1945 artwork from both Japan and the rest of the world.

The museum is accessible by train, bus and taxi.

Located in Kiba Park, it's a 10 to 15-minute walk from either Kiba Station on the Tozai Line or Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station on the Hanzomon and Oedo lines.

The museum has a collection of around 5,600 works that chart the history of contemporary art mainly from 1945 to the present. The MOT Collection showcases works in a variety of different styles and mediums by both Japanese and international artists.

The museum also holds six to eight exhibitions a year that cover a wide range of genres, including architecture, fashion, and design, with a focus on contemporary art.
