Learn about the Ozegahara Plateau environment and get up-to-date information on hiking trails
The Ozenuma Visitor Center, located on the eastern shore of Lake Ozenuma, is a base for trekking and sightseeing in Oze National Park. It has educational displays about the park's environment and interactive exhibits with real fur and skulls from animals that live in the area.
The information counter staff conduct regular field patrols in order to provide the latest seasonal information on where you can see flowers in bloom, the condition of mountain trails, and environmental conservation initiatives being undertaken in Oze. The visitor center holds guided group nature observation tours daily. There is a seating area where hikers in Oze can stop to rest or eat lunch.
From the center, you can easily access the network of wooden boardwalk trails along Lake Ozenuma and through Ozegahara Marsh.
