How to Get There
Saijo Inari is accessible by train and taxi.
Catch a train from JR Okayama Station to Bitchu-Takamatsu Station, then a taxi Saijo Inarisan Myokyoji Temple, which takes about 5 minutes. Then, walk 10 minutes to the temple.
Eclectic shopping
The shopping street that leads up to the temple is about 600 meters long, lined with shops and buildings offering a wide selection of products.
You can find goods in the temple such as candles and incense sticks, as well as stores selling, antiques, traditional Japanese sweets, souvenirs and sake. On New Year's Day, there are food stalls.
