Authentic wooden architecture at a magnificent art museum
The Rantokaku Museum of Art is housed in an authentic wooden building. The museum's name is derived from the many noble orchids growing in Shimo-Kamagari. The museum exhibits representative modern Japanese paintings and works by local artists. Exhibits are planned from a collection of approximately 2,200 works, including Japanese-style paintings, oil paintings, prints, and drawings.
