Around Christmastime, Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park transforms itself into Takino Snow World for the winter season. The snowy world attracts many winter sports fans, with a 250-meter-long, seven-degree family slope perfect for first-time skiers and kids.

How to Get There
You can get to Takino Snow World by train and then bus.
Take a 20-minute Nanboku subway train to Makomanai Station, then take a 30-minute ride on Chuo Bus #106 (the Takino Suzuran Koen Line) to the Suzuran Koen Higashiguchi bus stop.
It is less than an hour's drive from Sapporo City .
