Located near the summit of Mt. Bizan in Tokushima City, Bizan Park is one of the more popular places within Tokushima to see cherry blossom in the spring.
How to Get There
Bizan Park is at the top of Mt. Bizan and is accessible by ropeway.
Walk for 10 minutes from Tokushima Station towards the Awa Odori Kaikan , and then take the Bizan Ropeway to the summit.

Cherry Blossoms in Bizan Park offers a more authentic experience than in the larger cities. In fact, the spectacular sight of more than 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees in full bloom draws blossom viewers from around Tokushima and across Japan.
Perfect for a picnic
Cherry blossom viewing picnics known as hanami are a much-loved activity. When the trees bloom around late March to early April, many people, both during the day and at night, take the ropeway to Bizan Park and sit on blue sheets laid out under the trees. Come to join them and enjoy food, drink, and laughter, underneath a canopy of pink and white blossom.
