Skiing through the trees
Rusutsu Resort consists of natural powder snow and has the largest number of lifts and gondolas of any single ski resort in Hokkaido. The Heavenly Area is particularly popular with skiers and snowboarders as an area where you can enjoy powdery forest courses and sidecountry skiing.
Fabulous facilities
The on-site hotels and lodges offer ski-in, ski-out convenience, with other smaller accommodation options around the area. There are plenty of dining options both in and around the resort, providing the perfect way to end an exciting day in the snow.
Rusutsu in summer
The fun does not stop in the warmer months—Rusutsu's green season has a lot to offer. The base of the west mountain becomes a popular theme park when the snow melts. To slow down the pace, play a round of golf or enjoy outdoor activities in the mountains, rivers and lakes.
