There is free parking for cars near the fields, and the sunflower fields offer an ideal stop for those driving to Asahikawa.
Get some sun
This sunflower town's relaxed vibe makes it a perfect place for a stroll to stretch your legs during a long summer road trip. With two million sunflowers, the bright blooms outnumber the local population. Take plenty of pictures, try to escape the maze, and stop for something to eat at the food court. Finally, if you have time, treat yourself to a dip at the Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen. This Dutch-style hotel features a variety of baths to soothe weary travelers.
