How to Get There
Nunobiki Falls is accessible by train and then a short hike.
The nearest station is Shin-Kobe Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway Hokushin Line and Seishin-Yamate Line and the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen. Nunobiki Falls is only a 20-minute hike from Shin-Kobe Station.

Nunobiki Falls is a collection of stunning waterfalls near downtown Kobe that have played a significant role in the country's literature and art. They have been called some of the most beautiful “divine falls” in Japan.
Hiking paths for all levels
The area is a popular hiking and sightseeing spot for locals and visitors. There are four waterfalls to visit: Mentaki, Ontaki, Tsutsumigadaki and Meotodaki. With a variety of different walking paths and the Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway , which scales the nearby Rokko mountain chain , exploring the area can be as easy or as difficult as you would like.
Once you get to the top, you will have incredible panoramic views of Kobe below.
