A paddle through the lake closest to the sky
Enjoy a unique stand-up paddleboard experience at Lake Chuzenji, a scenic lake formed through a volcanic eruption about 20,000 years ago. Located in Okunikko, an area loved by foreigners since the Meiji era, the lake is said to be the closest lake to the sky in Japan at an altitude of 1,269 meters above sea level. The area offers many programs that allow you to experience the incredible nature views of Nikko and the waterscape that changes its expression with the seasons.
