Experience a world of winter forests on snowshoes. North Nagano is covered with deep snow during the winter and is famous as a heavy snowfall area. Melt into the tranquility of Togakushi's giant cedar tree forests and the precincts of the shrine surrounded by pure white snow. If you need a little break during the hike, you can make a table out of snow and enjoy a good cup of fresh coffee.
