Nagai Sake Brewery is a brewery established in 1886 in Kawaba Village, located at the headwaters of the Tone River in the northernmost part of Gunma Prefecture. The brewery produces a variety of sake, including its main brand, Mizubashou, taking advantage of the region's quality water, carefully selected rice, and traditional techniques passed down for generations. By visiting the sake production site and the water source, you can experience the unique Japanese culture of sake that relies heavily on the quality water of the region. You can also enjoy some time at the Koshinkan, a store that uses a 130-year-old sake storehouse, and the Kura Cafe which offers coffee and meals using local ingredients.
