SEA PASEO Cruise Ferry
HOME > Japan’s Local Treasures > SEA PASEO Cruise Ferry
Kure City
SEA PASEO is a ferry that operates the Hiroshima-Kure-Matsuyama route, connecting the prefectures of Hiroshima and Ehime. It was launched in 2019 under the concept of a “floating park” that makes travel through the Seto Inland Sea as enjoyable as possible. Travelling on SEA PASEO allows passengers to cruise along the scenic Seto Inland Sea as if they were leisurely strolling through a park.
The ferry's interior has been designed under the same concept and offers guests a unique and relaxing onboard experience. With three zones inspired by different themes and a variety of seating spaces, you can spend your time aboard SEA PASEO as you please. Universal design features make the ferry accessible to wheelchair users. From solo travelers to large groups, SEA PASEO turns a sea journey into a memorable experience.
Feel the sea breeze and bask in the sun on the top open-air deck, which also has an artificial turf terrace, just as if you were in a park. Enjoy beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea from the Panorama Sofa seats in the bow or relax with your shoes off at the Hikinami HANARE space located at the back. In the central area you will find the Refresh Lounge and the Panorama Counter, where you can eat and enjoy a quiet time while gazing at the sea.
It takes 45 minutes from Hiroshima Port to Kure Central Pier Terminal and roughly 1 hour 55 minutes from Kure to Matsuyama Sightseeing Port. The SEA PASEO’s departure times vary depending on the time of day. Please check the latest timetable before travelling.
From Hiroshima Airport, take the bus to Kure Station (1 hour), then walk 10 minutes to Kure Central Pier Terminal.
